Finding Old Beloved Clothes is like Christmas Morning! !

I was sorting through the boxes in my room and came across one that said "winter clothes" on it! I cannot even begin to describe my excitement as I found old beloved garments from 6 months ago when I packed them away and unpacked my summer clothes. :D Ulternating clothes in your cupboard is a good way to keep a fresh inspiring outlook on your wardrobe, while at the same time maximizing space.

Undoubtedly when summer roles around again for Australia in 3 months time, I will probably have forgotten all the pretty things I put away and will get excited once more. #WhoNeedsShopping

(On another note you may have noticed that I said for Australia, summer starts again in 3 months. You're probably thinking "Lycie, aren't you forgetting spring?" Well it's funny you should ask that. Now that im on the subject of Victorian/Australian weather prepare yourself for a rant haha. Aussie weather is rediculous. You will get, rain, hail, sun, overcast, humidity, freezing tyfoon wind- and thats not just in a day, Oh no, thats in one hour. Its mental.
In Victoria where I live it does get quite cold in winter, down to about 1 to -6 degrees at the coldest unless you live in the high country or farm land where it gets much colder and often snows. Summer time in Australia usually lasts for about 9 months of the year. And there is a period in January and Febuary where it reaches 40 degrees Celsius (not faranheight) and we get long periods of heat waves. But spring time doesn't REALLY exist for most parts of Australia because we are so close to the equator.  In Northern Australia around the Darwin area, they have only two seasons, the wet and the dry. Get a bit further down in the middle of Asutralia around Alice Springs and you have one season-  the hot. And down in Victoria we have a bit of everything on a regular basis so its like all four seasons mixed into a day, funnily enough. But we do have weeks that abide by the seasoning rules, currently atm its freezing. But at the end of August it will go straight from being freezing to 30 degrees celcius within a day or so and therefore will skip spring like it does most years, leaving her to wallow in dispair by having denied the Australian people a smooth transition from cold to hot. The grass will go from lush green, wet and covered in leeches to - dried up and golden in a matter of days. Luckily, Autumn does exist in Melbourne weather so its not all bad. Autumn is probably my favorite time of year in regards to weather cos it USUALLY is inbetween freezing and warm. Although atm we are coming to the end of Autumn so its just. Plain. Freezing.
Dont know how I got on a rant about weather but anyway.....its good to get frustration out of your system, yeah? Lol not that I am frustrated.  But really I trully am happy and blessed to live in this amazing countrt.)

The little things in life make it worth living and worthwhile

ITS A BRAND NEW DAY! :D

Hello world!!
My little corner of the universe is looking brighter everyday. Iv gotten in touch with an old friend from high school- whose name will be changed to BFF, she is so lovely-  and to be honest it was the best possible thing I could do. I was a bit lonely since I moved away from the city to the coast. So I messaged her on fb and told her how much I missed her and wanted to catch up and as a result she said she felt the same and she invited me to a party last saturday night.  The party was a soup party and it was so fun!! XD ❤ -for those of you who don't know what a soup party is, its where everyone brings a vegetable and you make soup- It was so delicious and perfect for an autumn evening :P despite the fact the party was 1 hour and a half away (thats an hour and a half driving at 100km/hr mind you) and raining like a tyfoon -I didn't let it deter me from going. My sister talked me into going and im so glad I did :D Not only did I meet a few new people but also amazing opportunities arose from this little decision. 

So the moral of today's blog is dont be afraid to step out and make the first move. If you are lonely, depressed or anxious or feeling isolated, reach out and get in contact with an old friend you used to be best friend's with (if you can ) because most times they feel just like you do. Or you could just as easily reach out and get in contact with a family member you haven't seen for a while- if they live far away, save up and book a surprise flight ticket to see them or of course, they are just a phone call away. Don't stay in your little warm bubble of self pitty because you think none of your old friends care about you any more or perhaps you think your family dont care about you. Whatever you do avoid isolating yorself at all costs. The best thing you can do is be around people and stay positive.  :D

I remeber I was having one of the worst days ever and I had been crying in my car. As I pulled up to a corner a young man passed my car with his  groceries in his hands. He looked at me and kept eye contact,  then surprisingly he gave me a lovely smile. As if to say "Its ok. We all have bad days, whatever you're going through, it will get better". Oooorrrrr he could have been laughing at me.... im not sure -but despite this sarcastic idea, I prefer to think in his own small way he was comforting me. He didn't even know who i was or the situation I was in.  It's so comforting that in times of trouble we as humans have the ability to pull togther even and support each other in small ways. And its the snall things that matter the most i think. Even if it's just something simple like smiling at someone who looks like they are having a bad day.

So you'll never know how much just a simple smile can mean to someone.

So if ever you see someone without a smile dont be afraid to give them one of yours. Because chances are they will appreciate it beyond belief and it will take a weight off their shoulders. Just like it did with me

Hello Lovely people of the internet!!

If there is anyone reading which i hope very soon there will be- this was a blog i started afew years ago now, i was aiming to make a blog post every week of the summer holidays but seeming as summer is over in my country now i have decided i will blog every week of winter about anything and everything.
so im really new at the whole blogging thing.
I am tired of watching people on youtube like Zoella and Markus Buttler, and thinking to myself "I could do that, but if only i had the time."

Well guess what? I now have the time and Im gonna go for it.
If it gets views then great if it doesnt then great! im happy either way.

I have always said to myself if i created a blog or a youtube channel it would be all about the followers and what they wanted to see. So thats what i'm FINALLY going to do.

This blog will be all about you guys and what you wanna see, i will keep it annonymous due to complications, but also to keep a bit of mystery around this pretty page haha. So prepare to see cool pictures, blogs about artists i like, documentation of my moving out of home, going to uni ect.

So as for now Toodle-pip my princes and princess's.
